Nature lovers can spot otters and an array of birdlife, while keen anglers will have exclusive access to a mile-long stretch of the river. The friendly town of Rhayader (17 miles) is known for its motorcycling routes, and is home to the Red Kite Feeding Centre, offering a fantastic chance to watch these beautiful birds of prey. Both the serene spa village of Llangammarch Wells (2.5 miles) and the bustling market town of Builth Wells (6 miles) are within easy reach, offering a choice of great places to eat and drink.
A couple of steps lead up and into this delightful single-level retreat where you will be greeted by the cosy, fresh and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. Natural light streams through the patio doors and into the lounge space which has a comfortable sofa and a TV, providing an ideal space to unwind after a great day out. There’s a small but sociable dining table to the rear, opposite the stylishly organised kitchenette which has ample equipment for preparing your favourite dishes. The living area also has a lovely double bed, with the sofa converting into a second double bed for extra guests. The accommodation also features a handy en-suite shower room.
From the main living area, patio doors open out onto a pleasant decking area with outdoor furniture and a brick built BBQ area, offering a charming spot for dining alfresco as you take in the far-reaching country views. There’s parking space for two cars, and puck stands for motorbikes. A range of useful facilities can be found onsite, including a launderette and shower block, with paddleboarding, fishing and river access also available.
