A short, 400-metre stroll from the home brings you to Aldeburgh’s seafront, where you can enjoy a relaxing walk along the promenade, admire the pastel-coloured holiday villas, and spend time on the tranquil, pebble beach. The town has a great range of eateries, including its famous fish and chip shops. You’ll find further places to eat out, as well as opportunities for a spot of retail therapy, in the nearby market town of Framlingham (14 miles). The heart of the home is a bright, open-plan kitchen/diner with a fabulous sky lantern and plenty of space for everyone to hang out after a day at the beach. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the comfortable seating area overlooking the garden, whilst the chef of the group rustles up a delicious dinner in the sleek kitchen area. Then, gather around the farmhouse-style dining table for a mealtime to remember. After dinner, head through to the inviting lounge, which features a beautiful bay window. Spend time in here, relaxing on the sofa and catching up on your favourite series on the Smart TV. Upstairs, discover three bedrooms, all with country-cottage styling and ample storage for all your holiday attire. Choose from a king-size or a sweet twin room. A family bathroom with a gorgeous roll-top bath completes this floor. The remaining bedroom – a light and airy twin – is located on the second floor.

Lovely big kitchen for getting together. Clean linens and comfortable beds. Just a short walk to the High St and the wonderful Two Magpies Bakery.

The property is ideal for small families, located within a short walk to the high street and sea front. Would have found it helpful to have information on the single oven in the folder.

The plus is that the property is in a very good (and quiet) location, within easy walking distance of the town and beach. There is lots of room for a family and lots of cooking equipment (too much for us) There are also some books, and some toys /games for children. The stairs are steep and upper bedroom is open to stairs and passage. We suggest Read moremore information is needed on how heating etc work and also what can be put in the house recycling bin; also the bins outside need to be marked landfill / recycling. Hide

Lots of clutter in kitchen eg half dozen open, out of date bags of flour and other foodstuffs and cans etc. Although bathrooms spotless, fridge had to be cleaned before use, could write name in dust on coffee tables, lots crumbs under kitchen table, sticking plaster remnants on living room floor. ALL furniture was not shabby chic, but grubby, tatRead morety, broken with handles missing and NO WARDROBES. Found a hanging rail (one!) in cupboard under stairs, insufficient for six people and had to remove more clutter to access this. Could not put suitcase out on way under bed as yet more clutter. Sofa unbearably uncomfortable and insufficient seating if six people did stop. If other accommodation was available on the website, would have complained at the time and not stayed. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our service. We will ensure that your concerns are dealt with quickly. Hide
