This sea-view holiday home in Ryde makes a wonderful base for a family getaway on the Isle of Wight, with so much to explore right on your doorstep. Appley Beach is the star attraction – a stretch of golden sand with calm, family-friendly waters for paddling, sandcastles, and seaside picnics. Just behind the beach, you'll find Appley Park, with its wide green spaces and striking gothic tower, and nearby Puckpool Park boasts fantastic playgrounds, tennis courts, and mini golf, all with sweeping views of the sea. For a touch of nature, stroll the Hersey Nature Reserve. This tranquil wetland haven is ideal for little wildlife-watchers, with reedbeds and bird hides where you might glimpse herons, swans, and even kingfishers. 4 miles along the coast lies the pretty village of Seaview with quiet beaches such as Seagrove Bay for days by the sea, lovely coastal walks, and boutique shops to browse.

Inside, the bright hallway sets the tone for your stay. To the right, you’ll discover a well-equipped kitchen complete with all the essentials for your self-catering break. Gather around the dining table to share leisurely breakfasts, long lunches, or celebratory dinners with family and friends. On the left, a handy utility room makes longer stays easy, leading through to a convenient shower room for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Wander further down the hall to the spacious living room, a lovely spot with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. French doors open out onto the back garden, where you can soak up the sea views, enjoy al fresco drinks, or entertain in style on the sun-light terrace. Upstairs, you'll find four inviting bedrooms designed with restful nights in mind: a king-size room, two doubles, and a flexible zip-and-link king-size that can be converted to twins on request. Two of the bedrooms boast delightful sea views, making waking up here an extra special experience. There's also a family bathroom for easy mornings and post-beach soaks.

Outside, you’ll be spoiled for choice with front and rear gardens to follow the sun throughout the day. Settle in with a good book in one of the peaceful seating areas, share dinner at the garden table, or fire up the BBQ for evenings under the stars. Private parking for one large or two small cars is provided.
