Tucked away in the heart of the Blackdown Hills National Landscape, this delightful cottage is just 3 miles from Honiton and boasts stunning views over the Otter Valley. Steeped in over 400 years of history, it’s packed with character and charm. Ideal for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy nature, beaches, and adventure. The property also offers a range of on-site facilities to keep everyone entertained rain or shine. The Jurassic Coast, with its picturesque seaside towns like Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, is within 17 miles, while the historic city of Exeter is just 25 miles away, offering culture, shopping, and outdoor activities such as kayaking along the Quay. Explore scenic coastal paths, the wild beauty of Dartmoor, and National Trust treasures including Killerton and Castle Drogo. For younger guests, nearby attractions such as Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary (12 miles), Escot Wildwood (10 miles).

Step a foot inside the cottage and the old English ‘chocolate box’ charm welcomes you into the hall area. Kick off your shoes and to your left is the lounge area with warming wood burner, cosy sofas and smart TV boasting original beams and cobb walls. Across the hallway is the kitchen diner, with a well-equipped kitchen space and oak dining table to enjoy meals. Completing the bottom floor is the shower/utility room with shower and WC with washing machine. Upstairs to the left are two twin bedrooms (one with a zip and link bed that can be made into a king size on request), with a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC situated in the corner. Completing the sleeping arrangements is a spacious king-size bedroom.

Outside, you have access to the array of on-site facilities including three acres of well-kept gardens, an indoor swimming pool, a games room with a pool table and table tennis, an outdoor sauna and much more.

We had a delightful four night stay at this charming cottage, overlooking a peaceful and beautiful valley. Really comfy beds and sofas, a well equipped kitchen and spotless throughout. The swimming pool at the farm was amazing and much enjoyed by 6 year old Sophia. She also loved the animal feeding, as well as the ride on toys and games room.
