Wake up to the sounds of nature in one of two rustic pods at this tranquil glamping site near Abergavenny. Surrounded by the breathtaking Monmouthshire countryside, and just 4 miles from the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), the site is the perfect base for families and friends who love outdoor adventure. Nearby popular walking routes include Sugar Loaf (10 miles) and Hatterall Hill (11 miles), and history enthusiasts can join the Three Castles Walk (9 miles in length) to explore the medieval fortresses at Skenfrith, White Castle, and Grosmont. Abergavenny (8 miles) is a vibrant town, known for its excellent food markets and independent restaurants showcasing local produce. After exploring the town, enjoy a relaxing stroll along the picturesque towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. The River Usk also passes through Abergavenny, providing opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and paddleboarding.

The site is nestled amongst the trees and consists of two separate timber pods, each sleeping two guests. To the front of the wood-clad pod is a cute living area with bench-style seating, where you can sit with a morning coffee as you listen to the birds and plan the day’s itinerary. Beyond the living area, reached via a few steps, is the cosy sleeping area with two single beds and a little window framing leafy vistas (please note, the sleeping area has restricted head height). Outside, you’ll find a separate ‘his and hers’ compost toilet, along with a cold-water shower and a wood-fired bathtub (both outdoors). You’ll also have access to a kitchen cabin for rustling up breakfasts and light bites, which you can share in the covered dining area.

Outside, there is plenty of space, surrounded by woodland. There is a covered dining area has two picnic tables and allows you to dine amongst nature, whatever the weather. As well as the kitchen cabin, you’ll also have a BBQ and fire pit with a griddle for cooking alfresco. Private parking is available for two cars, approximately 200 metres from the site (trolleys are provided for transporting luggage).

We all had an amazing time on our break . The accommodation and site was all that we had hoped for , and more. The hosts were very welcoming and easy to contact, if we needed anything. The setting was very quiet and relaxing . There's lots to do in the area too. I would highly recommended here to stay .
