You’ll have scenic footpaths and bridleways leading right from the doorstep – ideal for walking, cycling or wildlife spotting with a picnic in your rucksack. A short 2-mile stroll brings you to the banks of the River Wye – perfect for fishing, kayaking or riverside picnics. Head to the Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells (9.5 miles) for lakeside strolls, a round of golf or a browse of the local shops. The Elan Valley (15 miles) – a National Landscape with spectacular dams and reservoirs. Explore Hay-on-Wye (20 miles), famous for its bookshops and annual literary festival, or venture into the Brecon Beacons National Park (18 miles) for peaks, waterfalls and world-class stargazing.

Beautifully charming and rustic, this quintessential Welsh cottage features gorgeous wooden beams and impressive exposed stone walls throughout. Step inside to beautifully designed open-plan living space, where a wood burner creates a cosy atmosphere – fabulous for unwinding after days spent in the fresh air. Park your bottoms on the cosy sofa or and sit down to leisurely meals at the circular dining table. The country kitchen comes fully equipped with integrated appliances and warm wooden finishes. To reach the sleeping quarters, head down the staircase to the lower level, where two restful bedrooms await – one double and one flexible zip-and-link bed that can be set-up as a twin or super-king to suit your stay.
