Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom abode captures magnificent views out across Ventnor Bay. Step straight out to stroll along the promenade or spend time on the lovely, sandy beach. Amble just 0.5 miles into the centre of the former Victorian resort to potter in its independent shops and galleries or dine out in its choice of eateries. Head 1 mile along the coast to the Ventnor Botanic Garden, where the unique microclimate of the area means a spectacular display of plants can be cultivated. Charming Steephill Cove, about the same distance from the apartment, is an idyllic spot for swimming, paddling and rockpooling, while the National Trust’s Ventnor Downs, 2 miles away, offers verdant surroundings and scenic footpaths to those who enjoy long walks.

Make your way into this lovely apartment at ground floor level via your private terrace and French doors. Pause to appreciate the panoramic views before stepping inside to find an immaculate, professionally designed interior with a tasteful, understated finish. Natural materials, such as linen and timber, have been married here with vintage furniture and gorgeous coastal colours to ensure you indulge in a calm and restful stay. There are also carefully chosen paintings and other pieces by local artists for you to admire. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features the glass terrace doors that can be thrown open on fine, sunny days to enable you to savour the sea air from inside and out. Sit back on the comfortable seating, which includes a sofa with a gentle striped pattern that takes inspiration from the quintessentially British seaside setting, after your excursions. Socialise together in comfort, find a film on the Smart TV or simply lose yourselves in the views. Prepare delicious dishes with Isle of Wight produce in the kitchen, then gather round the dining table to enjoy your meals together. As night falls, head off to your beautifully decorated bedrooms, one super king size and one twin zip and link (can be made as a super king size on request). This apartment is in a brilliant location, opposite the beach at Ventnor. It is well-equipped and beautifully decorated, although the en-suite is tiny and lounge seating could be revised to make it comfier for 4 people. Saying that, we had a great week at the apartment, with several pubs and restaurants nearby. Ventnor is a great base on the IslRead moree of Wight, as most attractions are within a 30-40 minute drive. The town is on the Esplanade, so is hard to access if you have mobility problems, so a vehicle is necessary. Hide

We had a wonderful stay. The location is fabulous, so close to the beach and with amazing views. The apartment is lovely, luxurious and attractive. There is on street parking and you can buy a parking pass for the whole island which makes things easier (for all island local council car parks, with a few exceptions). The Spyglass pub is very close, Read morewhich is very convenient and Tonis tea room, along the esplanade, was a great place for breakfast. Hide

Sunny sands was a perfect location surrounded by gorgeous walks and a perfect view of the sea ! Coffee on your doorstep with lovely places to eat and people watch ! Ventnor is beautiful you wont be disappointed !

Fantastic location to explore the Isle of Wight by car. Lots of food options within walking distance - loved Smoking Lobster and The Spyglass Inn. Apartment very clean and tidy with well-equipped kitchen. The patio overlooking the beach was also great for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. This was an excellent base for our exploration of the Isle of Wight. Beautiful location, excellent flat with plenty of equipment and comfort to make our stay really comfortable. I would definitely come back and recommend as spotlessly clean when we arrived
