A fabulous day out awaits at Muncaster Castle (11 miles) and for the ramblers Black Combe Mountain (7 miles). Take a drive to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway (13 miles) and ride the steam train through stunning Lakeland scenery or tackle Scafell Pike (24 miles) – England’s highest peak!
