This contemporary three-storey townhouse for six boasts a prime position. It sits right in the centre of the Suffolk town of Framlingham, an ancient market town bursting with independent shops, pubs, restaurants, a 12th-century castle on the hill, plus beautiful public gardens. The town also hosts regular, open-air markets – the ideal place to pick up local produce and handmade gifts. More eateries and boutiques can be found in the vibrant riverside town of Woodbridge, 11 miles away. For a day at the beach, journey 14 miles to the creative town of Aldeburgh, and enjoy a stroll along the shoreline on the pebble beach. Day trips from the holiday home include the Anglo-Saxon burial site at Sutton Hoo (12 miles) and the creative hub at Snape Maltings (11 miles), with its live music events, high-end shops, and art galleries.

The stylish townhouse is arranged across three floors, with ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. The property has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished, with colourful artwork and quirky accessories adding personality and style to each area. On the ground floor you’ll find a welcoming lounge with a plush sofa to sink into and a Smart TV for movie nights together. Across the hallway is a bright, contemporary kitchen/diner with a sleek dining table and everything needed to rustle up hearty meals for the group. In summer months, throw open the French doors to the garden for indoor/outdoor living. Heading upstairs, two stylish bedrooms await – a king-size and a double – along with the family bathroom. Also on this level is a small office with a desk for remote working, should you need it. On the top floor is a fabulous super-king-size bedroom with a dressing area and its own, en-suite shower room.

Step through the French doors out into the beautiful enclosed patio garden, where you can relax while soaking up the sunshine on warm days. This lovely retreat has private parking for up to two cars.

This is a new building which is very clean and fitted with new furniture etc. It is in an excellent location, very near to Framlingham castle, the church (both well worth visits) and the market square, with Co-Op and cafes, especially if you cut through the first turning on the right as you walk down the hill from the property. It is also hanRead moredy for exploring many of the most popular destinations in this beautiful county, and not far from the coast. We enjoyed Orford, Dunwich, Sutton Hoo, Southwold, Aldeburgh etc. The main reason for choosing this property over others was the reference to remote working - one of our party needed to be able to do this. Unfortunately, this proved challenging as the wi-fi and phone signals both proved consistently unreliable - one day it was impossible. We got used to the wi-fi regularly dropping out, which would have been irritating but not devastating if only using for holiday purposes. I appreciate that connectivity can be a problem in rural areas and may be beyond the owner's control, but there needs to be due warning of this when referring to remote working in the property. Although the local agents were helpful, we didn't feel welcomed in this property - starting with unclear parking instructions. Hopefully, this will be clarified in the description. There was no guest guide and we had to enquire about rubbish/recycling . It felt as though our concerns about the difficulties in closing the patio doors were dismissed by the owner, who was apparently aware of this but had chosen not to provide warning/instructions. We were left feeling anxious about opening the doors during the hot weather as they had slipped in their frame and were difficult to close. Not only were we worried about damaging the doors, there was also the fear of not being able to close them and leaving the property unsecured. There were four of us and this was fine for sitting round the table, but it would be a struggle with six adults. There were also issues about a lack of basic equipment; I understand that recommendations on these are being made to the owner and hope they are taken up. This could be a really nice place for a holiday with just a little more attention and explanation about the wi-fi. Hide

A great location - we were staying near family. Very clean and well appointed house. The garden is secure - you cant see it on the pictures but there is wire behind the trees. Our dog couldnt get out. We loved watching the resident muntjac in the cemetery behind the garden!
