We enjoyed our stay at this property for its location, good car parking, lovely garden and spacious rooms. There are good local walks and an excellent village pub, where we were made welcome and enjoyed good meals. However, some aspects of the property were disappointing, particularly the lack of basic equipment, eg insufficient bins, towels, no Read morebathmats or table mats. There was also no property guide to use of heating or kitchen equipment, or guidance on recycling procedures. We also agree with other reviewers' comment about the need to remove shoes. Many of these shortcomings could be addressed easily and would make for more enjoyable stays at the property. Hide

Lovely place to stay - house and location, we had a nice break. The garden is a good size although could be a few hazards for small children. The kitchen could be better equipped and it was a shame that we were not made aware prior to booking that the patio doors can not be fully opened and that there were no blinds or curtains up for privacy in thRead moree snug and kitchen areas. I think guests should also be made aware that no shoes are allowed in the house Hide
