A characterful two-storey cottage set within its own private walled garden, it is the perfect location for a tranquil escape for couples, friends or families, and an easy drive to explore the best of Somerset and Wiltshire. Less than 1.5 miles away, you'll find the lovely town of Bradford-On-Avon with its beautiful buildings, canal walk and restaurants and inns, whilst Castle Combe and Castle Coombe Woods are just 12.5 miles away, which offer circular walking trails around the pretty village and woods. Otherwise, you can visit the historic World Heritage city of Bath and explore the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge or head to the historic house at Lacock Abbey, where Downton Abbey was filmed, 6.5 and 8.5 miles away respectively.

This charming Grade-II listed property still retains evidence of the old bread oven and meat/ fish smoking oven, and the old stone floor bears the marks of the axe where the wood was cut to fuel the fires. The house is reached through an old latchet gate beneath arched boughs which takes you into a courtyard. It is beautifully furnished, and the lounge area boasts exposed beams, a comfortable 'L'-shaped sofa, an armchair, and a large TV. The lounge also boasts a cosy wood burner in the old fireplace, a cute window seat, and a pull-out dining table. The compact kitchen has everything for your catering needs. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and WC. The downstairs double bedroom has beamed ceilings and an ornamental original fireplace. The bedroom upstairs is a family room with a king-size bed and a single under oak-beamed ceilings.

The former dairy offers a gym and sauna. Outside is a large, secure, walled garden with tables and outdoor tables and benches. A large, shared south-facing paddock provides lovely views, seating and a BBQ area. There is off-street parking for two cars.
