Eight guests are exceptionally well catered for in this family-friendly holiday home – a wonderful destination for escaping with your dearest loved ones and friends. There’s no shortage of activities nearby, with The Royal North Devon Golf Club a stone's throw away and the seaside village of Westward Ho! offering a wealth of exciting adventures within walking distance. Head to the beach (0.5 miles) to surf, sunbathe or hunt for treasures in the rockpools, or explore Northam Burrows Country Park, where wildlife thrives amongst the rolling sand dunes. Visit the charming villages of Appledore (2 miles) and Instow (2.5 miles), travelling between the two on the estuary by passenger ferry during the summer months. Alternatively, follow the coastal path to Abbotsham Cliffs (5 miles) for breathtaking cliff-top views. Younger guests will love a day out at The Big Sheep theme park (3 miles), and you’ll find a great selection of pubs and eateries in Bideford (2.5 miles) or Barnstaple (8.5 miles) to round off your day.

This bright and airy holiday home features a reverse-level layout, with high ceilings and skylights allowing natural light to flood the open-plan living space on the first floor. Enter a welcoming hallway that provides access to four bedrooms. The largest, a super-king-size room, offers a luxurious retreat for your guests of honour, complete with a TV, patio doors to the outside, and a private en-suite shower room. Another double bedroom also benefits from an en-suite shower room and has its own TV. The remaining bedrooms – one twin and one bunk room – share access to a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Completing the ground floor is a fantastic games room, featuring comfortable seating, table football, Nintendo Switch console and a Smart TV – perfect for children and teens. While younger guests are entertained here, adults can make the most of the superb lounge/kitchen/diner upstairs. This spacious, sociable area includes a lounge on one side and a well-equipped eat-in kitchen on the other. An additional Smart TV makes it ideal for movie nights, and a telescope offers the chance to admire distant views or gaze at the stars.

Bi fold doors from the lounge lead onto a balcony which boasts far-reaching views across the golf course towards the sea. There is a rattan dining set making it a wonderful place to spread out and enjoy the sunshine. On the ground floor, a door from the entrance hall and also bi-fold doors from the Master bedroom and games room open onto an enclosed patio space and lawn garden with further outdoor seating, and a luxurious hot tub. A gas BBQ is also available, perfect for unforgettable summer afternoons. The property is complete with private off road parking for two cars.

House was lovely, garden and hot tub really nice. Super comfy and had everything for a group of 8 that included 2 small children. Fans were much appreciated during the heatwave week along with the sea breeze. The welcome treats were a lovely touch.

The 19th Hole is a really comfortable home for a holiday. The view is exceptional and the location is good for access to many places in the area. The grandchildren appreciated the playroom, and everyone made use of the hot tub. The house was very clean. I would recommend this house for a multi generational holiday.

Fantastic house in the most beautiful and perfect setting. We had a great time as a family with our dog and there was so much to do. Very well equipped and the hot tub was great as the weather wasnt always on our side. Would come here again thank you x

A beautiful home that smelt divine as soon as the front door opened. Comfort and convenience for all has been thought about. We loved the airy upstairs space and the fact that there was an abundance of crockery/kitchen equipment - nothing worse than going away but wishing you had your own cupboard contents with you! Not the case here. All of the beRead moredrooms were super comfortable, great showers etc. Lovely hot tub and very much needed as the weather was not kind. The addition of the welcome hamper for us and our dog was much appreciated. Hide

What an amazing house to stay in, three generations and we were all happy with the quality of the furniture and decor. This is the best equipped house weve ever stayed in. Westward Ho! Beach was 10 mins walk away and dog friendly September to May. However if you turn left from the house on the main road and access northern burrows beach that hadRead more a sign saying dog friendly all year. The light airy first floor living area was perfect to all hang out in, with a small snug down stairs for when people needed a bit of space or an energetic game of table football. The property was absolutely wonderful and will be returning. The best equipped holiday accommodation we have ever been. Wonderful walks and short walk to beach, town and shops. We didn't have the best weather which meant we really enjoyed the comfort of the property and wonderful views.

Excellent spacious and well equipped house, very clean. Upside layout gives maximum gorgeous views from living space and the bifold doors onto the balcony are fab, telescope was a lovely addition. Very close to Golf course, beach areas and local amenities are in walking distance or just a short drive.
