Hikers and cyclists can also follow the Monsal Trail (6 miles) and the Abney-Eyam Loop (8.5 miles), while climbers can explore the Horseshoe Quarry (1 mile). The popular market town of Bakewell – home of the famous Bakewell tart is to the south (7 miles), with other local attractions including Blue John Cavern, Magpie Mine and the beautiful estate and stately house at Chatsworth, all within 13 miles.

There’s a sociable dining area to one side before you head through to the sleek and fully equipped kitchen, which features a lovely central breakfast bar. As you head upstairs, you will find an invigorating family bathroom with a bath and separate shower, alongside a choice of three fresh and cheerful bedrooms: two delightful doubles and a sweet single, all decorated in calming, tasteful shades.
