This beautifully extended former whaler’s cottage, dating back to the early 1900s, provides a peaceful hideaway is less than a mile from the shingle shores of Seatown Beach. It’s set along a quiet lane leading directly to the sea and right next to the owner’s home. You’ll have a friendly local pub just 100 metres from your front door – ideal for that post-dinner pint. The lively market town of Bridport is just 2.5 miles away, while 2 miles away is the lovely Symondsbury Estate, a working estate with stunning trails to discover, delicious seasonal food and artisan shops. Lyme Regis, with its famous fossil-rich coastline, is only 6 miles away, and the historic market town of Dorchester (approximately 18 miles) is also a wonderful place to visit.

Step up into this single-storey detached cottage and through the French doors into a light-filled hallway, complete with a glass ceiling and space for your boots and coats. To the left, up one step you’ll find the kitchen and dining room with a vaulted ceiling, wooden floor and lovely wooden dining table and chairs.
