This contemporary coastal retreat sits in the seaside resort of Woolacombe, on the rugged North Devon coast. The sandy, 3-mile beach is the star attraction, offering endless opportunities for seaside walks, picnics on the sand, and a wide variety of water sports. There is also a collection of smaller, hidden coves dotted along this stretch of coastline, including Barricane Beach (0.5 miles) which is famous for its ‘curries on the beach’ (served from the nearby cafe) in summer months. The South West Coast Path passes through Woolacombe, providing fabulous cliff-top walking routes with far-reaching sea views. The stretch towards Morte Point is particularly scenic.
