Croyde’s sandy, horseshoe-shaped bay is loved for its surf-friendly waves and family appeal, with lifeguards on duty during summer and plenty of rock pools to explore at low tide. After a day on the beach, wander into Croyde’s charming centre, filled with independent shops, welcoming pubs, and spots to enjoy a classic Devon cream tea. For stunning sea views, follow the coastal trail to Baggy Point, or head 5 miles to Woolacombe for a change of pace.

It was perfect for our family. Equal distance to the village or the beach. Straight onto Tarka Trail for walks around the coast. Property was exceptionally clean. Had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Seashells is a great holiday cottage. It's in a perfect position for both the beach and village centre. The house was as described. It was spacious, warm and comfortable. The furnishings were good and the 3 showers / bathrooms were excellent. It was exceptionally clean and tidy, with books and games, lots of outdoor seating options and well stockedRead more with basic supplies (kitchen / cleaning). The kitchen was reasonably well equipped - the induction hob took a bit of figuring out in terms of pan/ ring size to make it work, but we got there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly visit again - being able to walk along the sandy track at the bottom of the garden to the dunes was fantastic. Hide
