This charming, sea-view apartment offers the perfect base for couples planning beach days, coast and countryside walks, and adventures along the surrounding South Coast. Lazy afternoons by the sea are made easy thanks to Pevensey Bay sitting less than 100 metres away, offering a wide expanse of sand and shingle. For more traditional seaside fun, the popular resort town of Eastbourne is just 4.5 miles away and boasts a long beach, vibrant pier, and plenty of shops and places to eat – including fish and chips! For outdoor adventures, the coast path passes the end of the road, while the South Downs National Park and High Weald National Landscape are both within 6 miles – perfect for days of hiking and cycling. Lovers of history will enjoy a visit to Pevensey Castle (1.5 miles) and Herstmonceux Castle (5.5 miles).

Enter this inviting apartment via the turfed roof terrace, which sets the scene for your stay with its sea views. Step into the social heart of the home – the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner – which is soaked in natural light and offers a welcoming base to return to after days of South Coast adventures. Unwind in the lounge space; sink into the cosy seating arranged around a Smart TV. On warm days, open the glass terrace doors to let the sea air flow through. When stomachs rumble, find that the chic, well-appointed kitchen boasts everything needed for cooking up holiday feasts. Gather at the spacious breakfast bar for light meals, or if the weather is kind, dine alfresco out on the terrace. Another great stay. Very comfortable, light and well equipped. Great location with terrace and sea view. Great communication from the owner. 2 good pubs, both dog friendly in walking distance and a fish and chip shop. Very scenic walking to the north and west of Eastbourne, combining the downs with sea views.

The location cannot be beaten as its so close to amenities and the beach - about a minutes walk! Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could need - this was the best rental we have used in Pevensey Bay so far. If you are nervous of open stairs like me you might not enjoy using the external staircase up to the flat, but its so worth itRead more! Above a restaurant but hardly any disturbance.
