This welcoming, single-storey property is located in Trelights, less than 2 miles from Port Isaac, a charming fishing village renowned as the setting for the TV series ‘Doc Martin’. It’s a great choice for families looking to get out and about in this designated National Landscape. Explore Port Isaac’s winding streets and enticing shops, buy an ice cream and hang out at the small beach – great for rock pooling when the tide is out – or try some seafood at one of the excellent restaurants. If you’re feeling active, you could walk the ‘rollercoaster’ coast path (named for its steep inclines), try sea kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding, or book a sea safari and hope to spot seals, dolphins and more. For a day trip with little ones, Camel Creek Family Adventure Park is just 2.5 miles away, while Tintagel Castle is 13 miles away.

With soft colours throughout and an abundance of natural light, this pretty holiday cottage has a relaxed, coastal vibe and feels instantly relaxing. From the welcoming hallway, head straight through to the kitchen/diner, where the cook can make the most of the range-style cooker to assemble delicious meals, perhaps incorporating some local seafood. Set the dining table, where there’s room for six, and perhaps open the back door for some fresh sea air. When you’re ready to snuggle up, head into the lovely lounge, where comfortable sofas welcome you for an evening of relaxation. Enjoy the warmth and glow of the wood burner if you’re feeling chilly, and stream your favourite shows on the Smart TV. There are three pretty bedrooms to choose from: the king-size and twin overlooking the back garden, and the bunk-bed room at the front, all sharing an elegant shower room.

The quaint, enclosed garden offers the chance for a tranquil moment with a morning coffee as you breathe in the crisp, coastal air, or an evening spent lounging outside while the children play on the lawn. You’ll have private parking for two cars, with further on-street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Property was easy to find and good location for access to local beaches, limited basic facilities and utencils No information for guests, you have to search around the property to find relevant information. If 6 people were staying you would find it difficult with just one bathroom, you would need a rota.
