This retreat is set on the edge of Penmachno, which is a traditional, quiet village with a pub and cycle trail centre, and is close to Sarn Helen – a favourite for cyclists. There are many fantastic walks and cycle trails right from the door. This lovely cottage is ideally situated for exploring Eryi Snowdonia National Park, home to Wales' largest peak, Mount Snowdon. Nearby Betws-y-Coed (4 miles) is a fantastic base for adventure training and offers a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and a host of outdoor activities. Blaenau Ffestiniog (6 miles) hosts Zip World Caverns with one of the longest zip wires in Europe and Bounce Below, a trampoline park set in an underground cavern. You can visit National Trust Bodnant Garden, Conwy Castle or take a trip on the steam railway, all within 13 miles. This is an all-year-round destination to make memories together.

On entering this charming and traditional stone cottage, hang up your coats, take off your boots and start exploring. The property is full of original and interesting features, including fireplaces, flagstone floors, shutters on the windows and exposed beams.
