Mynydd Llanllwni, 9 miles away, offers splendid views from the summit, and Brecha Forest (14 miles) is well worth exploring. The property is just 12 miles from Cenarth Falls and 16 miles from Skandavale Monastery, which appeared in the BBC show the Hidden Monastery. Lampeter (7 miles) has a twice-monthly farmers’ market, so check it out should your stay coincide with it. For water sports enthusiasts, Llandysul Paddlers Canoe Centre is 7 miles away. Cwrtnewydd is 8 miles from the main costal road and 12 miles from the beach at New Quay. Dolphins are known to reside in Cardigan Bay and at times can be spotted from the shore. Ancient history fans should visit Cardigan Island, home to Iron Age settlements (20 miles).
