An exceptional Welsh farmhouse, nestled in glorious Pembrokeshire surroundings, this appealing holiday cottage is ideally located for the countryside and the coast. Sleeping seven guests, the four-bedroom retreat is situated at Molleston, 1.5 miles from Narberth and 7.5 miles from the beach at Saundersfoot. It is also 10 miles from the vibrant coastal town of Tenby, with its beaches, seaside attractions, shops, restaurants, and boat trips out to Caldey Island. Take the children to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, 4 miles away, or Manor Wildlife Park, 8 miles away. Have a day out in Pembroke, 12 miles from your base, where you can visit the impressive medieval castle. Keen surfers might like to ride the waves at Manorbier, 13 miles away, while those who prefer inland water activities can have fun at Wild Lakes Wales, with its aqua park, ringo rides and wakeboarding sessions, 3 miles from the farmhouse.

Return from your exciting trips out and let yourselves in via the utility/boot room. Slide your shoes off, pop damp beach wear and towels straight into the machine and head off to the nearby family shower room for a good rinse. When you are ready to relax, wander through to the stylish kitchen/diner to start chopping the fresh Welsh produce you have sourced for dinner. Pour yourself a glass of chilled wine to enjoy at the breakfast bar in the central island or pull a chair up to the table. There is a warming Rayburn in here, which is perfect for winter stays, and ample space for everyone to congregate for happy holiday meals. The younger members of the party will adore the adjoining snug/playroom, which features a TV, piano, games and toys. Adults might prefer to retire to the lovely lounge, where they can stoke up the wood burner in the stone fireplace and sink back into the soft blue seating in front of their favourite boxset on the Smart TV. As the sun sets over your holiday home and you are ready to turn in for the night, make your way up to the first floor of the farmhouse. Here you will find the family bathroom together with your bedrooms: a king-size, a double, a twin and a single. An extra trundle bed for an additional guest can be made up in the single bedroom if discussed in advance.

Immerse yourselves in the natural beauty of the exceptional, mature, two-acre gardens surrounding the house. Gaze out over the countryside as you dine on the patio and play games with the children on the lawn. Supervise the youngsters on the play equipment and light the fire pit on clear, starry nights. We absolutely loved Molleston Back Farmhouse, the photos do not do this place justice. The location is amazing, completely surrounded by nature and next door to the fabulous Grove of Narberth if you fancy a nice restaurant (they have two, one which is family friendly and the other more for adults!). The grounds are beautiful and my children loved aRead morell the play equipment and we loved the outside dining, multiple choices, some undercover and some underneath a parasol, absolutely perfect. The dog loved the freedom too. The house itself is so well equipped with everything you could possible need to cook elaborate meals, a playroom stocked to the brim with toys and jigsaws, games and books, plenty for children of all ages and adults too. We also managed to work with the wifi with zoom calls, downloads, etc. We travel a lot to holiday cottages and this one we will return and recommend to friends. Thanks so much, you home and surrounds is beautiful. Should also add that it is 15 minutes drive away from stunning beaches and five minutes drive to Narberth, which has fantastic independent delis, shops, bakeries and butchers. Hide
