Beautiful views from this property. Easy to find and so close to lots of attractions / days out / shops. Good selection of games although a few pieces are missing from the games. A few things I would note is that it was really odd not having any blinds/curtains on the downstairs windows. I think having a door for the room with the tv would be goRead moreod too. We also could not figure out how to turn the lights off on the stairs. We would have welcomed a little info pack on the property with things like house rules, nearby attraction info, where the wifi code is. I think in the description it needs to be mentioned that access to the outside area where hot tub is, is through the front door and gate. This to me doesn't make it dog friendly. With all of the above, i would still recommend the property. Hide

Nice location, and the property was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, we ran out of gas during our stay, which meant we had no hot water/ heating or use of the hob. This was very stressful and disappointing, especially as we were hoping for a relaxing break. The homeowners couldnt have been more apologetic or helpful, and they did their bestRead more to provide cooking alternatives and logs for a fire, which we really appreciated. However, it still affected the overall experience and took away from the relaxing atmosphere we initially felt. The pans and trays also need replacing, as they are extremely worn and not safe for cooking. That said, with a few improvements, I would be happy to stay again, as we did feel well looked after despite the issues. Hide

We did have a lovely stay at the cottage. Location is lovely. The farm is a bit messy on first view but this did not bother us at all. It was lovely seeing the ponies, goats and pigs, the cockerels woke us up each morning. The best bits were the far reaching views, the hot tub was large and clean. We spent a lot of time relaxing in there. The kitRead morechen had everything you needed to prepare your own meals. We had an excellent Chinese take away from the golden bowl not too far away. The cottage was cosy and welcoming. Towels and bed lining smelled nice and clean. Local walks right on the door step. Only short drive to beaches and other places of interest. Was quiet and secluded no close neighbours. Check in and out was a breeze. There was just a few small negatives with the fixtures and fittings but by no means did it ruin our time there. The slats are still broken on the beds, even though this has been mentioned before. One of the bedroom doors doesnt close properly and blows open. The en-suites dont have doors or curtains so you can see and hear what happens on the toilet. If you like to sleep in the dark there are no blinds on the skylights so you will rise with the sun. The main front door is the only way in and out of the property, theres no back door or patio doors to the garden deck. No lawned area for dogs or children to play. Felt it was a little overpriced but that may be personal opinion. Hide

Very disappointed with the overall standard of the property, poor quality fixtures and fittings, uncomfortable furniture for anything longer than a couple of days. Lack of instructions or information about appliances.

Beautiful cottage for a well-deserved getaway paired with breathtaking views only a small drive away but also right at your doorstep. Facilities such as washing machines and dishwashers areRead more working and provided during your stay which most definitely come in handy if you are expecting to stay upwards of a week. Lastly, the homeowner is a wonderful individual who during my stay was on hand with any issues at hand and was very pleasant to chat with. Their immediate care for issues that had arised was very caring and they certainly are someone that people should consider to contact for their holiday. 10/10! Hide
