Wroxham Barns (2.5 miles) is to the south, a popular spot with a shopping village, junior farm, workshops and cafe. This is an ideal base for exploring the Norfolk Broads by foot, bike or boat, with Bure Marshes to the south (10.5 miles) and Hickling Broad to the east (9 miles). The historic city of Norwich is inland (13.5 miles), or you can head to the coast for a day by the sea at Happisburgh, Mundesley and Sea Palling, all within 12 miles. BeWILDerwood, Hoveton Hall Estate and Bure Valley Railway are all within 6 miles.
