Built along the banks of the beautiful River Camel, Wadebridge has a choice of great pubs and restaurants, and makes an ideal spot for joining the Camel Trail as it heads inland to Bodmin (7 miles) and north towards Padstow (7 miles). Known for its popular seafood eateries, the harbour town of Padstow lies at the mouth of the River Camel, offering a variety of boat trips along the river and out to sea. There are some beautiful beaches within easy reach including Harlyn Bay and Trevone Bay along the Trevose Headland (both within 12 miles). Other local places of interest include Camel Creek Family Adventure Park, Pencarrow House and Garden, and the Bodmin Jail Attraction, all within 7 miles.

The bright and spacious lounge has a cosy wood burner alongside a Smart TV and comfortable seating, including peaceful window seats. Separated from the lounge by the staircase, the dining area has a handsome central dining table as well as exposed stonework and a desk in case anyone needs to catch up with work or write a few postcards. The ground floor also features an elegant bathroom with a lovely free-standing roll-top bath, a separate walk-in shower and WC, there is also a handy second WC off the entrance hall. Heading upstairs, you will have a choice of three delightful rustic-style bedrooms, all with traditional beamed, sloping ceilings: there’s a cheerful super-king-size room, a relaxing double and a lovely single.
Stepping outside, there’s a small terraced garden and a lovely enclosed south-facing decked area providing a cheerful space for sitting back and enjoying a BBQ together on a sunny evening. Parking spaces are available outside the cottage for two cars.
