Caldon Barn was well equipped with comfortable beds and sofas and amazing decor. The attention to detail was really lovely and it felt very luxurious. There are shared facilities in a utility area just outside the door which hold a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer should you need them and the owners are on hand if you need anything elseRead more. Location wise, its a short drive to the nearest big supermarket, 45 mins to Alton towers and about an hours drive plus a 30 min train ride into Liverpool; which was by far our best day out. The barn provided us with a comfortable, clean base for our week of adventures! Due to the layout of the Heakley Hall, there is potential for quite a few guests to be on site and with the communal areas provided, the Barn does not offer seclusion or privacy with the outside space, however, we did not find this a problem and quite liked the knowledge that other people were nearby. We had an amazing stay and would encourage others to visit this beautiful location. Hide
