Nestled in the charming village of Polruan, this delightful Georgian apartment is the perfect destination for couples looking for a romantic break. With a wide range of beaches close by, and the South West Coast Path running through the village, there is plenty to do. Take a stroll into the village where you can sample the local ale in one of two pubs or treat yourselves to a Cornish breakfast in the cafe, 150 metres down the road, or pick up a pasty lunch from the bakery. Stroll on down to the quay (150 metres) where you can enjoy stunning views of the Fowey estuary, as well as a castle and the author, Daphne du Maurier's home! Or perhaps venture out and take the passenger foot ferry across the water to explore the bustling town of Fowey itself, where you can find an array of shops, cafes, pubs and more. For a more active day out, visit the nearby beaches of Lantic Bay (1 mile) and Lansallos (3.5 miles).

There is also a lovely dining table situated next to the large bay window, making it the perfect spot to settle down with a nice drink and watch the ever-changing tides or fabulous sunsets. The kitchen is stylishly presented, well-equipped and offers further views of the estuary from the window. The good size bedroom has a king-size bed, perfect for a lazy lie in. Completing this wonderful home is a modern shower room with WC.

Just spent a blissfully peaceful week in serenely decorated, well equipped and very comfortable accommodation. I could happily have spent a whole week just looking at the wonderful view over the river across to Fowey but there was a lot to see and do. The apartment is ideal for a winter break. Even with very cold conditions outside we were warm and cosy within. We enjoyed lingering indoors because of the fantastic view.The bed is comfortable and we slept really well. The apartment is really lovely and equipped with everything you need. It is very tastefully furnished so we immediately felt at home. And it was very clean and comfortable. The view over the harbour is amazing.

Wonderful week at Christmas time in this stylish first floor Georgian apartment with excellent views across the estuary. Very comfortable and well equipped. Polruan is a quiet and friendly little waterside village with lots of character and some steep hills.
