Treat your loved ones to a relaxing getaway at this charming holiday home sitting in the heart of the picturesque town of Crickhowell. This three-bedroom cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends in search of a stylish cottage to call home while they enjoy a relaxing break in the Brecon Beacons/Bannau Brycheiniog together. Spend contented days exploring the vibrant market town of Crickhowell (0.5 miles). Stroll through town and soak up the stunning views of the Black Mountains, check out the charming 18th-century Crickhowell Bridge, and browse the independent shops, cosy cafes and traditional pubs. The property overlooks Wales’ impressive Black Mountain range, with Waun Fach (9 miles) and its neighbouring peaks well worth a hike or mountain biking adventure. Music fans will adore the property’s proximity to the ever-popular Green Man music festival (2 miles), while literary lovers can take day trips to Hay-on-Wye (19 miles).

Step inside and you’ll find a spacious hallway with plenty of storage space for your outdoor gear. Take a moment to admire the beautifully styled living room to your right – an extra living space that multigenerational groups in particular will appreciate − before you head to the smart open-plan living/kitchen/dining room – the heart of the home. This is a wonderfully sociable space with warm, neutral styling, exposed brickwork and characterful ceiling beams. Whip up some dinner for your loved ones and get everyone together around the stylish dining table beside the cosy wood burner. Afterwards, head to the living room, settle on a sofa, pour yourself a glass of wine and catch up on your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, venture upstairs to the three lovely bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a welcoming double and a twin. Completing the layout, you’ll find a large, chic family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed garden with a stylish patio, BBQ and dining furniture, the perfect place to while away warm evenings.

Rose Cottage is a great place to stay , the owner is very helpful and responsive if necessary. In good weather, the garden table, chairs and parasol are fantastic! We have stayed twice and are likely to be back.

Crickhowell is.a great base to explore this part of Wales. Small town but everything you need (bakery, butchers, foodstore) and want (bookstore, clothes store). Loads of walks from your front door (go to the tourist centre and pick up a guide on your first day). Just perfect. A very enjoyable stay. Rose Cottage was beautifully appointed, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Generous welcome pack and other very thoughtful provisions. Location was better than expected, very close to the town centre, with a good selection of shops and pubs serving excellent food. Would definitely book again.

We had a fantastic stay at Rose cottage for a family holiday including one baby and a dog! The cottage was fantastically equipped with everything you needed and everything was so clean and tidy. There were lots of lovely personal touches which were much appreciated and every little detail had been thought of. Rose Cottage is a beautifully decorated and comfortable cottage with everything you might need for a wonderful stay. The welcome basket was extremely generous and the owners seem to have thought of everything to provide. The location is very handy, just a short walk to the centre of Crickhowell. We had been a bit worried about the lack of reserved Read moreparking but it was very easy to park on the road (which is actually a lay by so sheltered from passing traffic), almost always just outside the house. We found the cottage had everything we needed and the supplies that were left for us far exceeded what we might have expected. Altogether a great place to stay, the outside seating area was delightful.

We had a fantastic stay at Rose Cottage, it was beautiful and very comfortable, it is in a great location, close to pubs, restaurants and shops. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions. We would definitely recommend sraying here.
