Nestled in an elevated rural position with magnificent countryside views towards the Lomond and Falkland Hills. The pretty village of Falkland (6 miles), home to a stunning Renaissance palace, features beautifully maintained gardens and rich historical exhibits; it was recently used as a filming location for the popular Outlander TV series too. Explore Maspie Den with picturesque woodlands, waterfalls, bridges and caves. Also visit Nature Reserve (RSPB) at Loch Leven and Heritage Trail (8 miles), a serene destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering fishing, scenic walking and cycling trails around the tranquil loch or take a boat trip over to the lochs island home of the historic Loch Leven Castle. Enjoy a trip to Fife Zoo, Scottish Deer Centre, Crawford Priory and Cairnie Fruit Farm & Mega Maze all within 15 miles. Golfers, why not visit St Andrews (home of golf) with its legendary Old Course and sandy beaches (23 miles).

Step inside this delightful, bespoke built, dog friendly lodge sleeping four guests, nestled in an idyllic elevated countryside position with wonderful views towards the Lomond and Falkland Hills. Relax on the comfortable sofas in the open-plan living area and admire the splendid views or watch a movie on the cinema screen and projector with bluetooth connectivity and Amazon firestick. There are also French doors leading out to the decked patio with seating area. Cook-up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy family or romantic gatherings in the dining area. There are two bedrooms at the rear of the lodge, a king-size and a twin, both with zip-and-link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements, and both with lovely views. Finally, completing this single storey lodge is the contemporary shower room with large shower cubicle and WC.

Venturing outside, there is a decked patio with seating area to enjoy al fresco dining or lazy evening star gazing with incredible views to enjoy. There is also a fantastic, woodfired, private hot tub to relax and unwind in whilst admiring the beautiful scenery. There is ample off-road parking available next to the property.

We had such a wonderful break staying at Wellwood Lodge. It was beautifully finished and so many things were well thought about. The hosts were very friendly and easily contactable if needed. It was the perfect location for visiting local attractions and the views were spectacular. Loved by the adults the child and the dog.
