Ferry Cottage was a charming three-bedroom cottage overlooking the Deben estuary with superb uninterrupted views of the river and sea, and the golf course to the back of the property. The moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning scenerylarge windows in the living room framed the landscape like a painting, and the private garden was thRead moree perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee while taking in the fresh air. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with seaside charm. It featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy wood burner, and comfortable beds that made it feel like a true home away from home. Each of the three bedrooms was very thoughtfully designed, with panoramic views that made waking up a delight. The open-plan living and dining area was spacious and inviting, with plenty of room for our family to relax after a day of exploring. Outside, a patio with table and seating allowed us to enjoy al fresco meals while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. The location was ideal, beautiful riverside and coastal walks on the doorstep and just a short drive from the town and quaint villages with excellent local pubs. There were lots of little thoughtful touches which made our stay special, a welcome basket with treats, and a helpful recommendations for places to eat nearby and the local attractions. The owner was very helpful and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether it was watching the sunset over the golfcoursr or stargazing at night, the holiday let provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was the kind of place that made you want to return, and Id highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views. Hide
