This home-from-home cottage welcomes families, friends, and couples to explore the coast, countryside, and vast open waters surrounding the Llyn Peninsula. Just a short 10 minute walk (0.5 miles) from Pwllheli’s marina, expansive sandy beaches, and vibrant town centre, the location offers the perfect base for seaside adventures. The lively town features a market, a variety of shops, cafes, and pubs, along with ample opportunities for hiking and cycling in the surrounding area. Sailing is a major pastime here – the marina is a daily hub of activity, and the nearby village of Abersoch (7 miles away) is a renowned sailing destination. Surfers will also be in their element at beaches such as Porth Ceiriad (10 miles) and Porth Neigwl (9.5 miles). For those who prefer to stay on dry land, the western edge of Snowdonia National Park is just over 10 miles away. There is also a train station in Pwllheli perfect for exploring when you want to leave the car behind.

This 19th-century cottage retains plenty of its original character, including exposed stone walls, original beams, and a handsome inglenook fireplace in the lounge. Step inside to the living area – a welcoming space designed for relaxation after a full day out. Sink into the sofas and unwind with the smart TV and the glow of the wood burner effect stove for cosy nights in. Carry on through to the well-equipped kitchen, perfect for budding chefs to get creative. Head upstairs to find two cosy bedrooms: a double room and a single room with smart TV, both served by a family bathroom complete with a shower over bath and WC.

Soak up the fresh morning air or watch the sunset from the property’s private, elevated decking area beside the house, accessed via a flight of steps. Further steep steps lead up to this decked outdoor space, where you’ll find outdoor furniture and uninterrupted estuary views – a perfect vantage point from which to relax. If you fancy a barbeque, you'll find this on the paved courtyard garden with table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining. Street parking is available at ground level.

The equipment was great, everything worked and the rooms and beds were super comfy. The cottage has all the utilities you need and is very coveniently located to explore Pwllheli (a lovely town) and the beautiful Lynn penninsula. A good value base from which to explore.

Comfortable end of terrace on the outskirts of town. Cooking facilities a bit lacking from a self-catering point of view and the woodburner is actually a gas fire. Good WIFI
