Keen birdwatchers can enjoy the soothing sights of wildlife at the Dyfi Osprey Project (10.5 miles) or the RSPB Ynys-Hir Nature Reserve, 13.5 miles away. The market town of Machynlleth, 7 miles away, is home to the oldest street market in Britain, and plenty of quirky shops, restaurants and cafes, plus MOMA Wales (7 miles), a must-see for art lovers.
