The information provided in the welcome booklet was great, we did one of the walks (walk 1) using the map - Ingram Cafe was a lovely find. The cottage is a comfortable base for a family and great for visiting local tourist attractions. The daily pool access at the spa is brilliant - staff were lovely and helpful. The amenities like kids plaRead morey areas were lovely, the local lake walk was brilliant, we saw adders on a few occasions and the oyster catchers. We didn't make it to Bosk so can't comment on that. We had an issue with the fridge which the owner and holiday cottages were great at resolving and at checking in after to ensure all was well. The welcome treats and milk were a great help as I'd forgotten to bring milk and we arrived on a bank holiday. We don't have a dog but the cottage is brilliantly provisioned for four-legged guests. Lovely property. Lovely location. Good value for money. Few cobwebs and very thin walls so need to all go to bed at same time if you have a young child!

I spent a lovely week with my daughter and her family, my grandson of 5 said it was the best holiday of his life, so good recommendation. Having the pool, spa, tennis courts, games room and play area was ideal. I love Northumberland because Im from there, so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. So absolutely fabulous week.
