Step back in time and experience a slower pace of life in Cromarty, staying in this wonderful holiday home at the tip of the Black Isle. Cromarty is a beautifully preserved 18th-century town in the Scottish Highlands, perched on the edge of the Cromarty Firth and surrounded by stunning beaches and a wealth of outdoor attractions. Set off to explore the town’s unique architecture – from charming fishermen’s cottages to grand period houses – all framed by the breathtaking backdrop of Scotland’s rugged countryside. During the summer months, a ferry service journeys across the water to Nigg (3.5 miles), opening up further glorious countryside and the rich seabird habitats of Nigg Bay (4 miles). Just 24.5 miles away, Inverness makes for an excellent day trip between hikes, cycles and local sightseeing. The city offers a striking castle, tranquil Botanic Gardens and the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery – a compelling blend of history, art, and culture.

A warm and homely atmosphere awaits in this ground-floor retreat. Discover the cosy, earth-toned decor of the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner – a sociable space for relaxed mornings and peaceful evenings. This spacious room features comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a selection of books for quiet moments. An extendable dining table sits by the sea-view window, perfect for enjoying delicious meals prepared in the adjacent kitchen while taking in the view. At the end of the day, follow the hallway to two welcoming bedrooms: a spacious double and a snug bunk room, both offering ample storage to unpack and feel at home. Completing the property is a contemporary shower room, conveniently located off the main hallway.

Perfect place for a relaxing and peaceful break. The town was very interesting and the views from the apartment were superb. We enjoyed the passage of the cruise ships hesding for Invergordon. Would we stay again? If the opportunity arose, yes we would.
