This rural holiday retreat enjoys a peaceful setting within the Tywi Valley, 2 miles from the quaint Welsh village of LLangadog and 4 miles from Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. The spacious converted farm building is the perfect base for adventure-loving families and friends, with a multitude of walking trails and outdoor activities on your doorstep. Just 2 miles away, you can join the long-distance Beacons Way walking route, and you’ll also be within easy reach of the wild and rugged landscape of the Cambrian Mountains. For shopping and eating out, the two picturesque market towns of Llandovery and Llandeilo are within 8 miles. Both towns offer a fabulous array of independent cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and galleries, and also host regular markets selling local goods and produce. Alternatively, spend a relaxing afternoon pottering amongst the floral displays at the National Botanic Garden of Wales (19 miles).

This converted former coach house has been tastefully decorated in a contemporary style whilst maintaining its traditional features, and is full of creature comforts, such as underfloor heating, to make your stay as relaxed as possible. Enter the holiday retreat into the spacious kitchen, which has all the equipment needed for a self-catering break, a central island for informal dining, and a convenient hatch through to the dining area. From the kitchen, move through to the fabulous lounge/diner, with its wooden floors, exposed stone wall, and far-reaching rural views. Unwind in here, after a day of adventure, stretched out on one of the sumptuous sofas to read a book or watch TV. To the rear of the room is a large, wooden table for hosting dinner parties and family celebrations. The property has two ground-floor bedrooms – a double and a king-size – one of which has an en-suite shower room. Completing this level is a stylish family bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious family bedroom with a double and a single bed and an en-suite shower room.

From the lounge, French doors open onto the enclosed courtyard garden, where you can dine at the picnic bench and take in your peaceful countryside surroundings. The property has private parking for three cars.
