Just a few metres from the seafront and promenade, this delightful holiday escape is set around 0.5 miles from the heart of the vibrant coastal village of Mumbles – it makes an ideal seaside getaway for couples, friends and small families. In Mumbles, you’ll find a variety of high-quality boutiques and galleries, a huge selection of places to eat and drink (try a superb ice cream or some local seafood), a Victorian pier and the Norman ruins of Oystermouth Castle, from which there are fabulous views of the coast and sea. Head to Swansea, just 4.5 miles away, for the theatre and stadium, museums and galleries, shops and markets, a fabulous water park and more. And for swimming and water sports, rock pooling and sunbathing, it’s all about Gower’s beaches – and there are so many to try, including Three Cliffs, Oxwich and Rhossili Bay, all within 20 miles.

Walk up the front path and enter the porch, where you can hang coats and kick off your shoes. From the hall, turn left into the open-plan lounge/diner, a spacious room with bi-fold doors to the garden at the far end. Here, you’ll find a selection of seating, ideal for relaxing after a day in the great outdoors, plus a long dining table at which to enjoy hearty breakfasts and sociable suppers. In the pretty kitchen, you’ll be able to prepare all the tasty meals you wish, using the electric oven and hob or the convenient microwave. Take the stairs to the first floor and find the two double bedrooms, both decorated in soft, natural colours and with plenty of space and light. They share a family bathroom and a useful separate WC.

To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed courtyard garden with bench seating and planted borders – the perfect spot in which to sit back with a good book and a coffee, or sip a sundowner. Parking for this property is on the street.
