The town’s wide promenade and step-free access to the beach are just 50 metres away, and it’s only a short stroll (0.5 miles) to the town centre and harbour. Nearby highlights such as Sewerby Hall and Gardens and Bridlington Animal Park (both 2.5 miles) are well worth a visit, particularly for families. The renowned wildlife haven of Bempton Cliffs is also within easy reach (5.5 miles). Along the coast, you can enjoy a day trip to the picturesque town of Filey (11 miles) or venture into North Yorkshire to explore the popular seaside resort of Scarborough (18 miles).

The apartment is in a very good location, not far from the town and the beach is just across the road. The furniture is comfortable and the heating is very efficient. The parking space is at the back entrance to the property and difficult to find on arrival. The apartment can sleep six people but there are only four places at the dining table. WeRead more did not need it, but there is equipment for people disabilities. The outside of the property is quite shabby, but inside is light and clean, but we didnt find it very homely. A good base however. We enjoyed visits to the old town, Bayle Museum, Sewerby Hall and Bempton Cliffs. There are dozens of fish and chips restaurants. We found the Naked Fish very good with a huge variety of fish and seafoods. Hide
