This charming cottage is ideal for families, couples, and dog lovers alike. Set by the Victorian harbour, it’s surrounded by a variety of shops, pubs, cafe's, art galleries, and the bustling working harbour where fresh fish is caught daily. Hop on a boat trip to explore the breathtaking coastline and vibrant sea life, or enjoy a scenic coastal walk along the South West Coast Path right from your doorstep. Just four miles away, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands boast beautiful golden sands and turquoise waters. Woolacombe itself is ranked 4th in Europe for surfing. It’s also a favourite for swimmers and paddleboarders, with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Venture to Exmoor National Park (9 miles) to experience its dramatic moorlands and woodlands, and visit the picturesque town of Lynton, where you can enjoy a ride on the funicular railway down to the charming village of Lynmouth.

The Fisherman’s Cottage is located right in the heart of the harbour on the historic medieval street of Fore Street. Opposite two of Ilfracombe’s oldest pubs, this is a fantastic location for a holiday to Ilfracombe with everything a stones throw from the property.

A one minute stroll from the front door will take you straight to the water’s edge by the Lifeboat station.

The property’s classic layout provides a unique blend of comfort and character across three floors. Upon entering the cottage, you are greeted by a welcoming hallway that leads to the well-equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing home-cooked meals during your stay. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate dining room creating the perfect space for family meals or intimate dinners. The stairway leads you to the middle floor, where you’ll find a spacious lounge with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Or, if you are musical, feel free to have a strum on one of the guitars available for guest enjoyment. This floor also features a bedroom with a single bed, ideal for an additional guest, with storage for belongings. The top floor comprises a spacious double bedroom with lots of wardrobe space, so you’ll have all the room you need for your belongings. This floor is completed with the family bathroom housing a bath with shower over.

Stepping outside at the rear of the property directly from the kitchen the home features a courtyard, with a small decked seating area. Perfect for those sunny days enjoying a coffee before exploring the wider area.
