To the west, the bustling town of Ulverston (15 miles) is home to the Laurel and Hardy Museum. The National Trust site of Fell Foot (6.5 miles) sits at the southern edge of Windermere, providing a fantastic base for steam trips across the lake or for exploring the glorious countryside, quaint villages and stunning waterways of the Lake District.

The dining room is ideal for sociable meals around the table, while the lounge features a wood burner sat in the original fireplace and plenty of comfy seating. A fully equipped kitchen has plenty of work and storage space, with an eye-catching exposed stone wall. The ground floor also has a handy WC. Heading upstairs, you will have a choice of two spacious bedrooms, each with a lovely double bed and ample storage space. The accommodation is rounded off with a stylish shower room.
