The sandy beach at Coldingham Bay is a mile from the doorstep, where you can watch surfers, enjoy a picnic and explore the rock pools for sea life. Stroll around St. Abbs Harbour (1.3 miles) with its nature reserve and dive centre. Take an adventurous rib ride to spot dolphins and seals. The coastal border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, with its quaint alleyways, hidden courtyards, medieval remains and wonderful boat trips, can be reached within 13 miles.

The owner is impolite, the cottage is old furnished and poor in condition. Garbage is full, mold in the kitchen, smelly cold and dark rooms, uncomfy beds. No outdoor space like photos suggest
