Beautifully positioned on the edge of the Cotswolds, this property is an ideal base for couples looking to explore historic villages, rolling countryside and timeless market towns. From Shipston-on-Stour, a scenic drive leads through picturesque hillsides and quiet lanes towards Stow-on-the-Wold (12 miles) and Bourton-on-the-Water (18 miles), where stone cottages and market-town charm invite slow afternoons ambling along the river. Stratford-upon-Avon (13 miles) offers a wander through history, with Shakespeare’s birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage providing a glimpse into the past, while the town’s theatres and abundance of tea rooms provide a well-earned break from exploring. Eager walkers can follow parts of the Cotswold Way (10 miles) or stroll along the Monarch’s Way (10 miles) as it winds through some of the region’s most spectacular landscapes. With traditional pubs, quiet villages and sweeping views at every turn, this setting offers the perfect mix of heritage and natural beauty.

Admire the rolling greenery as you make your way up the drive and pull up outside this exquisite single-storey cottage. Previously a calf barn, this remarkable conversion invites you to relax in its neutral-toned open-plan living space, complete with Crittall windows and luxurious decor. This setting, designed to maximise both comfort and functionality, offers a fabulous space to entertain, whether you’re creating culinary bliss in the sleek olive-green kitchen or gathering around the bench-style dining table for a round of cards. The underfloor heating is a welcome treat following afternoons of rambling through the Warwickshire countryside. The zen-like design continues as you make your way along the hallway and into the double and twin bedrooms. The double bedroom benefits from its own en-suite shower room, adding a further touch of indulgence to your stay. Slip into a slumber amongst earthy hues and high-quality furnishings, and in the morning, awake to a soak in the free-standing bath in the stylish family bathroom.

Start your day with a steaming cup of coffee out on the charming patio, soaking up the sights and sounds of the countryside. This peaceful outdoor spot is perfect for romantic al fresco breakfasts or lingering over evening drinks as the sun sets.
