Located in St Mary's, this handsome cottage is the perfect base for families and groups of friends to explore all the scenic destination has to offer. Proudly nestled on the southern edge of the wonderful English Riviera, it’s easy to see why the beautiful harbourside town of Brixham is so irresistible, offering a famous daily fish market, boat trips and opportunities for canoeing and kayaking. Explore this area from its best watery angle by jumping aboard a boat trip from Brixham Harbour, 1.5 miles away, to discover the true, unspoilt beauty of the River Dart. Back on dry land, enjoy a paddle in the calm waters of Breakwater Beach, 2 miles away, at the mouth of the harbour, or hop along the coast to explore the towns of Torquay (9 miles) and Paignton (6 miles).

Through the charming entrance hallway, follow the warmth of the roaring wood burner into the cosy lounge, which boasts exposed beams throughout and a gorgeous, exposed brickwork fireplace reminiscent of times gone by. Combining rustic original features, including beams and an inglenook fireplace, with quirky contemporary touches, including a jukebox Bluetooth speaker, the spacious dining room opposite is bursting with style and sophistication. Beneath the stairs, you'll find a handy desk space if you need to catch up on emails, leading through to the elegant family bathroom. Across from the bathroom is a utility cupboard and an additional WC. Complete in a chic contemporary look, the spacious kitchen at the heart of this home-from-home completes the ground floor. There are four bedrooms on offer upstairs, two king-size, one small double and one bunk bedroom (suitable for children only), which all feature a peaceful ambience that invites guests to unwind at the end of a busy day. An additional WC completes the first floor.

Outside, you’re met with a beautifully landscaped, tiered garden brimming with mature plants and featuring a wonderful BBQ area, and a hammock, set against the backdrop of splendid far-reaching views. Being enclosed, dogs and children can safely roam the large lawn to their hearts' content. There is private parking for one car at the cottage with additional on-street parking adjacent, subject to availability.
