With the beautiful Chilterns National Landscape only 5 miles away, walkers, cyclists and fellow lovers of the outdoors are spoiled for scenic trails weaving through rolling countryside and leading to welcoming villages. For family-friendly activities, visit Whipsnade Zoo (8 miles), Woburn Safari Park (9 miles) and Meade Park Farm 6 miles), also, for Mountain bike enthusiasts there is Asply Woods. After days of adventure, return home to your holiday base and enjoy a quiet evening gathered around the fireplace watching a family favourite on the Smart TV.

Before stepping inside this characterful property, take a moment to appreciate its dramatic facade and rich history. Head into the spacious hallway, perfect for kicking off walking boots, and move through to the social heart of the home – the open-plan living space, which is sure to impress. Here, the chapel’s history is celebrated, featuring a pipe organ, wooden panelled 22ft high ceilings and grand windows that combine with modern, homely comforts to offer a fantastic holiday base. Fire up the wood burner after days of adventure, flick on the Smart TV as you sink into the soft furnishings, enjoy a game of pool, or simply sit back with an evening tipple and gaze around this truly unique room. When stomachs rumble, find the colourful and well-appointed kitchen at the back of the room, which features everything needed for an easy, self-catered stay. Enjoy the chef’s work at the long dining table beside the organ, or dine alfresco out on the garden patio. Head upstairs and find more space to unwind, thanks to an additional living space with comfy seating and another Smart TV. When it’s time to call it a night, choose from two delightful bedrooms on the upper floors – a master king-size room and a family bedroom with the option of a king-size and three singles, or five singles. Serving the bedrooms and completing the interior are two well-equipped family bathrooms with baths, (one is a roll-top) and separate showers.

The outdoor area includes a private patio with garden furniture and a gas BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining. The property also features a driveway with parking for two cars. Please note, external steps and staircases inside the property may pose challenges for those with limited mobility.
