Nestled amidst serene countryside on a working farm with a vineyard, this is the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends. Located just 2 miles from Bridport town centre, enjoy the abundance of amenities this charming town has to offer. Spend a lovely day out at Seatown Beach, 5.5 miles away. Go fossil hunting or enjoy a stroll along the picturesque seafront, where the kids can enjoy making sandcastles while enjoying an ice cream. Or visit the farm animals at Foxdown Children’s Farm, 7 miles away. Further afield, Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, offers a day of aquatic discovery for all ages, 11 miles away. Watersports enthusiasts will enjoy a day out to Westbay, 4 miles away. Visit the Westbay Discovery Centre and learn about the history of the breathtaking Jurassic Coast.

Enter via electronic gates into Limbury House, and drive past the house, which is surrounded by gardens and a pond, to the front of the property. Enter the property into a spacious hallway where you’ll find space to hang your coats and store your boots and shoes. Off the hallway, there is a downstairs cloakroom and utility room for your convenience. The open-plan living/kitchen/dining room makes up the home's social hub. The spacious, well-appointed kitchen offers plenty of storage and worktops while the living room makes for a welcome retreat after a day of sightseeing in the local area. Settle down on the comfortable sofa in front of the ornamental fireplace while you enjoy a good book. To the rear of the dining area, you’ll find a cosy snug, where you can relax and enjoy views out onto the open farmland and vineyard. Down the hallway is a delightful king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom comprising a separate shower and bath. Two beautifully decorated double bedrooms and a family shower room with a double shower and WC complete this floor.

Outdoors, go for a splash in the hot tub in the enclosed rear garden. Or enjoy al fresco dining in the garden while taking in the spectacular countryside views.

A wonderful cottage in a stunning location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the cottage was clean, warm and cosy with an exceptional welcome hamper. Sitting in the hot tub with a stunning view was an added bonus. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

We absolutely loved the house! It was perfect for our family of 4 with two teenagers. The owners left a very generous welcome hamper which was appreciated including a bottle of wine from the vineyard! The views over the vineyard and fields were lovely and we loved watching the sheep with their new lambs. The house itself is extremely comfortable- tRead morehe beds were great and its all decorated to a high standard with all the kitchen equipment you would need. We visited lots of different places, and would recommend Bridport, Seatown - lovely pub The Anchor Inn, Lyme Regis, Burton Bradstock and West Bay. We would certainly return to this house! Hide

Wonderful house and entrance past the owners property from the road. The surrounding gardens with the small lake are absolutely lovely. Great location. The welcome pack was outstanding which included a bottle of the vineyard wine which was exceptional. Highly recommend Grooms Cottage and would not hesitate to return.

If youre looking for a peaceful holiday with spectacular views of the countryside then Groom Cottage is for you. A beautiful ,comfortable house with a fully equipped kitchen We were four Adults and a toddler and we had everything we needed . A very generous Welcome Pack was provided containing good quality items and .a bottle of Richards wine froRead morem his Vineyard , Very comfy beds with an amazing view from the master bedroom .perfect place to sit and relax. Good quality Bathrooms always plenty of hot water and the biggest ,fluffiest towels . We made great use of the open fire and Richard supplied a very generous quantity of logs The owners Richard and Louise, were so welcoming and friendly and couldnt do enough for us .We have stayed in many places and Groom Cottage certainly is one of the best .Good communication from booking to arrival and during our stay. Had a lovely time at Grooms cottage over Christmas. We wanted a peaceful relaxing break and we certainly had that! Its in a beautiful setting, the views are stunning, watching the birds. The beds are comfortable, we all slept well. Lots of kitchen equipment, cooked Christmas dinner /buffet food. Very handy to have the washing machine and tumbleRead more dryer. A big hit with our family was the hot tub, it was great to use as the sun set , with all the Christmas lights too. We had a lovely basket full of treats left for us, loved the wine.
