After approaching the property via an illuminated private lane, pull up in the private parking area with space for multiple cars. Your thoughtfully designed holiday home sits on an elevated site with lovely country and river views from the main living space. From the hallway, step into the spacious kitchen/diner, full of light from the impressive floor-to-ceiling windows and with a French door opening onto the enclosed decking. A large TV in the kitchen keeps the chef of your group entertained while they cook up a storm, ready to serve up at the generous table with seating for eight. The bright lounge features a lofty vaulted ceiling, dual-aspect windows, and further French doors to the wraparound decking, allowing the outside to flow in. This wonderful living space is beautifully furnished, with Chesterfield sofas set before a large wood burner and 60” TV. A cosy snug in the hallway and a WC complete the ground-floor layout. Upstairs, you’ll find four inviting bedrooms and the family bathroom. The bedrooms comprise a super-king-size, two doubles (one with an en-suite shower and walk-in wardrobe), and a single.
Outside, enjoy verdant views as you dine alfresco on the lit decking, perhaps sizzling up a feast on the Weber BBQ. On sunny days, relax on the two sun loungers, or sip cooling drinks around the outdoor dining table with seating for eight. From here, steps go down to a small lawn and private field that leads to a small river. It’s a haven for nature lovers, with frequent sightings of birds of prey, as well as lambs frolicking in neighbouring fields. To the side of the house is a wooded area with a stream. The decking area can be enclosed, with gates that can be locked to prevent access to the field, river and stream, making it safe for children and dogs. There is generous storage for kayaks, bikes, or other equipment in the garage.
