The Pipehouse was spotless, well equipped and spacious - very comfortable for us and our young kids and dog, plus the two more adults who stayed some of the time. It was very peaceful yet within striking distance of the well-connected train station, lovely village shop/cafe and pub. Freshford is beautiful and there are loads of nice walks locally aRead morend easy day trips around. The huge sliding doors were great both for sunny days playing in and out and for feeling outdoors while safely tucked up from the rain with the log burner on. Recommended! Hide

We had no use of the walk in shower and as 88 years old found it difficult/impossible to use the other shower. We were promised a plumber on day one to fix the shower but no one turned up and were not kept informed by the owners. We left a day early as we needed a good sofa and a good shower so went home.

Amazing place to stay. So quiet and restful. Well thought out and very comfortable. It was lovely to be able to have both our dogs with us and the space was perfect. The kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely book again. We also wanted to note how great the location is for accessing lots of local places. Good walking fRead morerom the door. We loved Freshford village too and although the pub is being renovated at the moment it will be great once that is back in action. The local train station is also excellent and saved driving into Bath or Bradford-on-Avon. Our dogs were allowed on the train too - perfect for walking canal one way and getting train back. We also loved the local memorial hall facilities in village too. Lovely cafe and shop and friendly people. Hide
