Get the whole gang together at this delightful house in the popular Georgian market town of Holt. Sleeping eight guests across three bedrooms, this is an ideal accommodation choice for large families or groups of friends seeking a spacious and stylish cottage to call home while they explore the Norfolk coast together. During the day, grab your hiking boots and set off to discover the ancient woodlands in Holt Country Park (1 mile), which showcase a renowned collection of rhododendrons and azaleas. Alternatively, history buffs will love exploring the Brickling Estate (11 miles), which boasts a unique combination of Tudor ties and Jacobean grandeur, as well as 55 acres of gardens. Hop aboard a boat trip from Blakeney (5.5 miles) to see the largest seal colony in England at Blakeney Point.

Pull into your private parking area (where there’s room for four cars) and head towards this exquisite retreat. Step inside and walk down the hallway towards the light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Take a moment to relax on the plush sofa while you admire the natural light that floods in through the bi-fold doors connecting this peaceful living space to the tranquil garden. When it’s time to eat, head to the chic kitchen area to whip up some dinner and then gather everyone together to eat at the stylish dining table, which seats eight. Afterwards, catch up on your favourite TV shows in the lounge area or head to the cosy snug to unwind with a glass of wine in hand. At the end of the day, make your way upstairs, where you’ll find three beautifully-styled bedrooms – the first two offer the comfort of king-size beds, both with convenient en-suite shower rooms and WCs. The third bedroom provides flexible sleeping arrangements with zip-and-link twin beds that can be made into a super-king-size (on request at time of booking). The snug on the ground floor also has a full-size double sofa bed, which can be converted into another bedroom. Completing the layout, you’ll find a generous family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC on the first floor.

Pull back the large bi-fold doors and step outside into the enclosed garden. The child and dog-friendly space is enclosed and features a furnished patio and a lawned area. Sit out here together on warm afternoons over a delicious al fresco dinner.

Fabulous location for walking into Holt and getting out and about. Really good size of property for a group of adults and a couple of dogs. Interior very smart. We enjoyed staying here.

Our second time at Hollyhock House and it worked so well for us again. Well equipped, spacious and brilliantly located for exploring North Norfolk and just one minute from the High Street in Holt.

The house was ideal for six people. It is so close to the centre of Holt and in a very quiet area. It is well located for many of the key locations in North Norfolk. We had a lovely week at Hollyhock House It's so comfortable and cosy, but very spacious. We felt at home straight away. Well equipped, we had everything we needed and a lovely bottle of wine, milk and bread on arrival. It's so nicely decorated, modern.
