The village itself boasts a variety of amenities, including an indoor swimming pool and shops, and there’s a host of fabulous places to eat and drink nearby. Walk along the coast to Yarmouth Harbour, 2.5 miles, to watch the sailing boats and enjoy a delicious lunch – the bus home takes you to the end of your road. The Needles Viewpoint is just 2.5 miles away – a must-see while you’re on the island. For little ones choose from Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle and Blackgang Chine (the UK’s oldest family theme park), all within 13.5 miles.

This stylish, spacious and light-filled rooms make this two-storey, detached house a relaxing and comfortable base for your holiday adventures. The spacious lobby area is ideal for storing walking and beach gear. Its lounge/diner offers a choice of plush seating and a Smart TV for entertainment, plus a large dining table where everyone can gather for sociable meals. For quiet times head to the delightful conservatory, the perfect spot to snuggle up with a good book or gaze at the setting sun and the emerging stars. The elegant kitchen contains everything the chef of the holiday will need to prepare tasty meals, including a microwave and that handy dishwasher. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom, which has been designed to be wheelchair-friendly, and a large family shower room. Sunset Beach is a really lovely house and I would highly recommend it. The house is clean, incredibly comfortable to spend time in and the furnishings and contents have been well thought out by the owners. The location is fantastic and the owners helpfully gave us great recommendations for restaurants a short distance from the property.

The cottage was well presented and comfortable but I would recommend reading the terms and conditions prior to booking as the owners have a number of rules to follow. The location was great, we'd highly recommend a visit to the hut (expensive but worth it) and the captains shack for crab sandwiches!

Great location, in a lovely quiet area. Wonderfully close to a lovely beach, whilst down a steep slope, our 5 year old was more than capable of doing the walk without help and loved playing in the sand. (Do check tidal times as the beach is fully covered at high tide). Had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday.
