A 1.5-mile uphill walk takes you to the magnificent Stock Ghyll Force waterfall, nestled in a wooded glade. This is a shady, tranquil spot and a great choice on a hot afternoon. For something to get the heart pumping, try the Fairfield Horseshoe. As well as the accomplishment of ticking off no less than eight mountain summits, you’ll also be rewarded with some absolutely jaw-dropping scenery.
