West Lulworth draws many visitors for good reason. The stunning Jurassic Coast runs beside the village and includes the much-photographed landmarks of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. The village has a good selection of amenities including a shop and pub and is ideally placed for touring the local beaches, with Kimmeridge and Ringstead Bay being within easy reach. The county town of Dorchester is 10 miles north-west or visit historic Wareham 7 miles to the north-east. Here you can walk within the old walls or enjoy lunch beside the river. Those looking for a family-friendly day out can visit the Sealife Centre in Weymouth or Abbotsbury Swannery .

A flight of external steps leads to the main entrance into this detached property. Once inside you are met with a useful boot room, which leads into an inner hallway with a separate WC. Just opposite is the bathroom, which has a bath, separate shower and WC. A door leads from the hallway into a striking open-plan lounge/diner, perfect for family get-togethers. Set to the front of the property is a spacious lounge with a cosy wood burner and Smart TV, ideal for settling down together and watching a film after a day spent exploring. In the dining area, there are patio doors overlooking the garden. Just next door is the contemporary kitchen, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Across the lounge/diner you will find three bedrooms, two of which are super-king-size (which can be made up as twins on request) and there is also one twin room. A flight of stairs leads from the dining area to the first floor where there is another super-king-size bedroom (which can be a twin) and a king-size bedroom set into the eaves. Please note some areas are height restricted. The king-size has an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside via either the dining area or kitchen brings you onto a generous patio area with garden furniture. Fairly steep steps and established stone borders lead from here up the hillside to an area of lawn with wonderful views. Due to the changes of level and unenclosed pond care should be taken with children. From the top path at the rear (accessed by a path from the road two doors away), you can directly access the coast path leading down into Lulworth Cove. There is parking on the driveway for two cars. Further roadside parking is subject to availability at the front of the property.

Fantastic holiday home. There were 9 of us plus a dog, plenty of space for us all. Beautiful gardens and an ideal postion to visit plenty of local places. Would highly recommend.

This property was in a great position close to lulworth and others amenities. Castle Inn which is very close does lovely food thank loads of kitchen equipment and stuff great as there were 7 of us. We had a really great holiday there

As a 3 generation family group with 2 dogs, this house was a perfect fit for us. The location was great for walking to the cove or lovely hill walks with stunning views, all within reach without using the cars.

We had a wonderful week at Moonfleet, the house is really well laid out so that everyone had space (9 of us plus a dog) it has an additional downstairs toilet which was handy too! Loved the location, there is so much to do around Lulworth. I hope to be back thank you!

Moonfleet was a really enjoyable stay. There were 9 of us and our dog and it was plenty spacious! The location is perfect-we enjoyed a walk down to the cove for a coffee every morning and a paddle in the sea! Wareham was close by for shops but be prepared-nearest larger supermarkets were 30minutes + away. If youre looking for a traditional English Read moreholiday for the whole family then Moonfleet is perfect! Wouldnt be suitable for those with mobility needs due to hills/rocky garden steps/narrowness Hide

Lovely property which fitted our needs perfectly. Easy walking distance to the Cove and even easier to the pub. Particularly good for those with an extended family, some of whom need a downstairs bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at Moonfleet. House was well equipped and comfortable. Gardens beautiful. Everything greatly appreciated by all generations plus dogs!! Lovely walks and many options for sightseeing. This was a family birthday celebration and it will be one to remember.! Highly recommended

We enjoyed our family Easter break. There were ten of us including three children and there was plenty of room for us all. The location is great for walking, as well as plenty of places to visit by car. Very well equipped kitchen.

Moonfleet is alovely cottage ,we had a lovely family Christmas.,lots of memories made well equipped kitchen, lovely welcome basket ,plenty of space for the 10 of us .overall a lovely place to stay .

What an amazing place to spend a special holiday. Quiet area, beautiful and well-stocked house, fantastic garden including patio, and footpaths close by. Everything was easy and comfortable at Moonfleet, and we all slept really well. The local shop only 5 minutes walk away provided everything we needed, from freshly baked bread to snorkeling gear, Read moreand plenty of places to eat or have a coffee. Managing agents failed to pass on to housekeeper, our request to separate two double beds. Lovely otherwise. All adults, and 4 children under the age of 8, enjoyed the stay. 3rd car parking no problem.

Location of this property near Lulworth beach is fantastic and ideal for a large family gathering. Needs another bathroom for 10 people. Some of beds are very narrow and not suitable for older children or adults. Lovely garden and furniture, steep steps to grassy area. Kitchen well equipped and lounge large with lots of sofas.
