We enjoyed our stay at this spacious and light apartment. Bed and furniture all very comfortable and everything very clean. The large terrace was nice and private and the views were fabulous, we were lucky with the weather. A quiet location but just a few minutes walk to all amenities. We would definitely stay again.

From the moment we walked in to the property we felt at home and very comfortable. Light and airy with the most wonderful views. The owners seem to have thought of everything to make this a very special stay. The location couldnt be better - on the edge of town, but an easy and pleasant walk in to many eateries and all the essentials. Swimming and Read morewalking were delightful from the property. We have stayed in many properties and places, in my opinion this beats them all (at our time of life!) very clean and very comfortable. The only slight issues are that I found the hob and the oven really difficult to get going/control, probably just me! On the other hand this did mean we ate out more than planned! This was a potential problem, as the popular and recommended places were fully booked way ahead, so do your research and book ahead. Our car (not the largest we have had) was a tight fit in the car port, thankfully the new car be moved backwards and forwards remotely with the key fob - so my husband had fun playing with this toy! Fantastic location with a large outside seating area, to fully appreciate the views. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and well maintained. Plenty of walks and great places to eat without the need to take the car.

Good facilities. Although if you have mobility issues, you may struggle to get your cases up the winding staircase from the doorway to the accomodation.

An excellent property which is very comfortable with an excellent view of the pier and the Bay. It provides for an easy walk into the town and all the amenities. Close to the property is Durlston Park which was full of interest.

We spent a very relaxing week at Porthole Penthouse. It was very clean. Being so close to the sea was fantastic and access to the coastal path via a gate made it even closer. A beautiful spot!

Not cheap, but ultimately you get what you pay for. Fantastic panoramic views of Swanage Bay, coastline and Pier.. Apartment is very well equipped and was very clean. Very quite at night. The car port is quite tight (we have a Mini and it was a snug fit). There is also Visitor parking on site if your car does not fit. Very close to facilities in thRead moree Town (I walked to the Steam Railway / Bus Stations and the local Co-Op supermarket in 12 minutes. Local pubs are 6 minutes away. Great position. Hide

The main attractions of this accommodation are the views and location. The flat is well equipped, although the lack of pint glasses and a bottle opener were annoying oversights. The patio area is comfortable and affords great views but it needs refreshing and the glass panels should be cleaned between lets. The top catch of the bedroom portal is miRead moressing which allows a draft and it can get quite noisy on a windy night. We had to leave early due to illness but we enjoyed our stay. Hide
